Wude – values that connect: Our commitment to martial arts and character building
As the official sponsor of the kung fu competition team of the Oriental Arts Research Center in Palma, we not only support top sporting performance, but also the ethical values on which traditional Chinese martial arts are based.
The central foundation of these values is the concept of Wude – the moral guideline that shapes character, behavior and spirit in kung fu. For centuries, it has been regarded as the benchmark for true mastery – far beyond technique and physical strength.
Wude is divided into two areas:
- Moral of action: humility, respect, trust, loyalty and righteousness
- Moral of the spirit: will, perseverance, patience, persistence and courage

The Oriental Arts Research Center was founded by Master Eva Caimari and the Taiwanese Grandmaster Kuo Chin Chen – with the aim of combining the deep wisdom and discipline of Far Eastern martial arts with a holistic educational approach.
The center sees itself not only as a place for sports training, but also as a cultural institution. It is dedicated to researching, teaching and passing on traditional Asian martial arts and the values associated with them. The focus is always on the personal development of young people – through discipline, mindfulness and collaborative learning.
The center’s kung fu competition team is now the official representative of the Balearic Islands at national and international tournaments.
Its most recent successes speak for themselves: at the renowned International Dragon Cup in Rome on May 17, 2025, the athletes won a total of 44 medals – an impressive result that demonstrates the team’s high standards and strong team spirit.
We are proud to have been able to accompany this journey for many years – and are delighted to work with the center to pass on the values of Wude and keep them alive.
Sponsoring environmental protection and youth work
Simmeth System is a sponsor of “Blueweek” in Tenerife, a unique summer camp for children and young people between the ages of 5 and 17.
The “Blueweek” is organized by the Wildiver diving school in Radazul, Tenerife. It is more than just a diving camp. Snorkeling and diving training are combined with in-depth workshops on marine flora and fauna and the importance of protecting our oceans and our environment.
Wildiver’s instructors are not only certified diving instructors, but also trained marine biologists and environmental scientists, so participants benefit from their extensive expertise.
Blueweek takes place daily from July to September in Radazul, the workshops and theory training in the rooms of Wildiver, the snorkeling and diving excursions on the beautiful beach of Radazul with its diverse underwater world.
