Burghausen, 03.12.2025: New AI tool analyses internal and external data sources, creates standardized risk reports and scorecards in minutes and enables real-time transparency for purchasing, supplier management and supply chain management With the new SC-Risk-Agent, Simmeth System GmbH is expanding its product suite with a fully automated, AI-supported component for systematic risk analysis in supplier management. The tool is seamlessly integrated into the SC Manager and delivers objective risk reports within minutes – standardized and well-founded.
The SC Risk Agent automatically analyzes external sources such as news, registers, ESG databases and sanctions lists and links them to data already stored in the company. It evaluates seven risk dimensions – including financial, operational and political risks – and generates a risk assessment including a scorecard, traffic light system, recommendations for action and sources. A ten-page AI justification supplements the analysis.
“Our aim was not only to make risk management and compliance management more efficient, but also more transparent and comprehensible,” explains Managing Director Markus Simmeth. “The SC-Risk-Agent achieves this – while at the same time relieving the specialist departments enormously!”
Integration into the existing SC Manager Scorecard with traffic light system enables a real-time risk profile that takes into account both internal compliance data and external AI signals. According to internal calculations, users save between 4 and 10 hours of working time per report and therefore up to 600 euros. With just 200 risk reports, this can result in potential savings of over 100,000 euros.
A special feature: the recognized information is not only stored in the database, but also embedded in the existing data architecture of the SC Manager in a structured manner – including scorecards, workflows and dashboards. In addition, relevant risk information can be automatically forwarded to third-party systems such as ERP or compliance solutions.
With the SC-Risk-Agent, Simmeth System GmbH is specifically targeting companies with complex supply chains that want to identify risks at an early stage and assess them in a standardized manner – whether in purchasing, supply chain management, quality management or management.
