Supply chain due diligence easily implemented with SC-Manager

Simmeth System's SC-Manager now contains preconfigured workflows with ready-to-use questionnaires for the implementation of the Supply Chain Sourcing Obligations Act.

In 2021, the Supply Chain Sourcing Obligations Act (LKSG) was passed. Since then, companies have been responsible for ensuring that human rights and environmental standards are observed in their Supply-Chains. The LKSG creates the legal framework for this and sets out clear requirements for companies' due diligence obligations. It also states that companies must obtain the necessary information from their suppliers.

To make this as easy as possible, Simmeth System has developed a corresponding module in its SC-Manager. This module provides companies with a completely preconfigured workflow with questionnaires already stored in the SCM-Software.

Simple workflows for buyers and suppliers

Via the central module "Supplier Manager", the purchasing department distributes the questionnaires to suppliers at the click of a mouse. They can answer the questions directly in the supplier portal and, if desired, also upload documents and enter additional information.

A simple traffic light system ensures transparency and informs those involved in the process about the status of their suppliers. In the event of deviations from the required standards or expiry of documents, they receive appropriate notifications via traffic lights and e-mail alerts.

SC-Manager modularly expandable

Simmeth System delivers the questionnaires and workflows pre-configured. These can be modified and extended by key users. In addition to the LKSG questionnaires, SC-Manager also provides preconfigured questionnaires on sustainability, the environment, social standards, sanctions lists and more.

As a complete solution for supplier management, you can use SC-Manager throughout the entire supplier lifecycle and extend it in a modular fashion. For more information, visit www.simmeth.net and request free access to Simmeth System's Infothek.
