Industry 4.0: Digitization in the Management of Projects

(PresseBox) (Burghausen / Zurich, 06.08.18) The most important Swiss IT trade fair "Topsoft 2018" will take place in Zurich on 28 and 29 August 2018.
Presented by Hans-Dieter Blatecki, owner of the Swiss consulting company pexc, MAN Energy Solutions Schweiz AG presents in a technical presentation their successful project for digitization in the management of projects, which was implemented with the software house Simmeth System GmbH.
The special feature: in this project, the information flows were digitized using the intelligent software solution SC-Manager from Simmeth System.
Business processes consist of the 2 main components: material and information flow. If one speaks of digitization in Industry 4.0, one would like to look only at the material flow. There is just as much potential in optimizing the information flows that comprise millions of datasets in a manufacturing company like MAN Energy Solutions. How to create transparency in the value chain by means of targeted, workflow-driven communication and information, while keeping track of deadlines and costs in "real time", is shown by the project "Störgrössenmanagement und Projektcontrolling" at MAN Energy Solutions in Zurich.
Speakers Michael Budimir, Head of Planning at MAN Energy Solutions, Markus Simmeth from Simmeth System and Hans-Dieter Blatecki will show how the flow of information in companies can be optimized in an exemplary manner through digitization.
