Sales und business target exceeded: Simmeth System on expansion course in Germany

Simmeth System GmbH (Burghausen, Germany) experienced an absolutely "rapid upside trend" in the ending year of 2005: Markus Simmeth, managing director gave the information that "in 2005, we have exceeded the sales target we aimed at by 50 percent." For the year 2006, the Burghausen service provider for IT supported process analyses and development of individual management technology and Key Performance Indicator Systems for all industrial and trade companies is planning a doubling of sales, increased distribution activities and employment of further personnel.

According to Markus Simmeth, the development of personnel and premises of the Burghausen company during this year has been the basis for the "stormy" expansion: A year ago, the company was still seated in a 25 square meters office with one part-time employee and a freelancer. In 2005, the company created the basis for the business success of this year by settling in a 200 square meters office building at the technology park Lindach and by increasing its personnel up to five full-time and five part-time employees in the meantime. "Simmeth System has processed 63 projects with more than 30 customers from all over Germany, Austria and Switzerland during the past two and a half years," Markus Simmeth explains. The customer range reached from A as Altana Pharma AG in Konstanz and Berlin through MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG in Munic to VAG Armaturen GmbH in Mannheim. The companies being mostly internationally operative have been served by Simmeth System with its software products, individually developed software, consulting services and customized data bank systems.

Successful controlling product

The business development with the controlling product "KPI-Monitor" has been especially successful, in this sector 25 companies could be win as customers for maintenance. Compared to the classical financial controlling, the KPI-Monitor of Simmeth System GmbH focuses the operations in the plant by means of exactly calibrated Key Performance Indicators. The software already successfully implemented in several internationally operating companies excels with the respective key users by the simple application as well as by clear and fast analysis possibilities.

Development of online supplier evaluation

The product "Online Supplier Evaluation" has been absolutely newly developed in 2005 and, amongst others, currently is in the implementation phase with an international pharma group located in Germany. It enables companies to evaluate suppliers in a targeted way according to all desired criteria without manually processed excel lists as well as to use and complete existing key performance indicator systems.

German première for premium pay software

In 2005, Simmeth System succeeded in a development so far unique in Germany in the product sector of customized data banks: Approved by the group management and the works committee as well as the IG Metall [Metal Workers' Union] a premium pay software has been developed and implemented for the approximately 600 employees of a Hamburg metal engineering company. "This software enables a team-oriented premium payment on the basis of existing process key indicators, which is transparent, fair and has an increasing effect on productivity, as well as a increase of the corporate profit," Markus Simmeth explains. As the company confirms, already significant improvements of the key performance indicators are recognizable since the start of the development by Simmeth in August.

Cooperation with FH München (Advanced Technical College of Munich)

Markus Simmeth sees a "highlight" of this year in the division "consulting services and competence" by winning the FH München as cooperation partner: Together with Prof. Dr. Klaus-Jürgen Meier from the "Institut für Produktionsmanagement und Logistik in Zusammenarbeit mit der FH München“ [Institute for production management and logistics in cooperation with FH München" Simmeth System plans and implements joint SCM projects in Germany.

Increased focus on the Bavarian "Chemical Triangle"

Simmeth System aims at a doubling of this year's turnover for the business year 2006: Amongst others, this shall be reached by significantly increased distribution activities in particular for the products "KPI-Monitor and Online Supplier Evaluation" and increase of personnel in the field of consulting by the employment of a business engineer as to February 1, 2006. "Further more, now we also will put the focus of our business activities on the regional small- and medium-sized enterprises of the Bavarian "Chemical Triangle" just in front of our door“, Markus Simmeth underlines.
